Hari besar + recipe.....

Assalamualaikum....

Hari ni merupakan hari terakhir bagi bulan Islam...bermakna besok adalah tahun baru...membawa semangat baru untuk terus istiqomah dalam perjuangan untuk menjadi seorang muslim yang berjaya fi duniah wal akhirah...Insha Allah...amin...

Hari ini juga merupakan hari lahir yang ke 34 buat saya....semakin menginjak usia...bermakna selangkah mendekati panggilan dari Allah...tiada nikmat Allah yang harus didustakan...segalanya adalah ketentuan dari-Nya....terlalu bersyukur dengan kurnian Allah S.W.T....

Semalam buat my own white bread...2nd trial...ok but the top part a bit too crusty....jadi macam keras sikit...en sudoku suruh try lagi....baik boss...hehehhe..

DAN LEPARD'S EASY WHITE BREAD

EASY WHITE BREAD
With a little effort and barely any kneading, you can conjure up an impressive crusty white loaf. If flavours are your thing, then toss in up to 200g of cubed Cheddar, or a little crispy bacon or some well-drained pitted olives and a handful of chopped herbs and you’ll have one of those ‘wow’ breads you see in the best bakeries. If you’re going to be at home for 3 or 4 hours, this recipe will take barely 20 minutes of your time, without you ever breaking into a sweat.
400g strong white flour, plus extra for shaping and dusting
1 teaspoon fast action yeast
1 teaspoon fine salt
300ml warm water
oil for kneading
 Put the flour, yeast and salt in a bowl, pour in the warm water and stir everything together into a sticky shaggy mass. Scrape the dough from your hands, cover the bowl with a cloth and leave for 10 minutes. Lightly oil a 30cm area of the work surface and your hands, and knead the dough lightly for 10 seconds, repeating twice more at 10-minute intervals. Return the dough to the bowl and leave it for 45 minutes. Wipe the work surface, dust it with flour then pat the dough into an oval. Roll it up tightly, give each end a pinch to keep it neat then place the dough seam-side down on a floured tray, cover with a cloth and leave until the dough has increased in size by a half – about 45 minutes. Heat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan/425°F/gas 7. Flour the top of the dough, cut a slash down the middle and bake for 35-40 minutes.


Walaupun ikut resipi tapi tapi the flour measurement still depend on the humidity....sometime more...sometime less...sometime ngam2...hehehe...

This is my bread....
Jangan tertipu yer...saya buat kecil jer...so last nite dinner...saya pair kan dengan shepard pie & salad....

Recipe shepard pie....memang ikut tekak dan main campak-campak jer...mula-mula buat la the top part dulu which is mash potato....3 biji kentang-rebus sampai empuk...lenyek...tambah 1 sudu besar butter+ 1/4 cup fresh milk...season with salt & pepper...ketepikan....

Bahagian bawah....saya guna 3 keping burger ramli sebab semalam tak jumpa minced meat....tumis 1/2 biji bawang holand yang dipotong dadu dengan 1 sudu besar butter...masukkan daging burger tadi...agak-agak garing keluarkan...tumis tomato sebiji yang dipotong dadu....masuk balik daging tadi....masukkan satu sudu besarr tomato puree....satu sudu besar sos cili...letak air sikit...season kan dgn salt & pepper...letak sikit mixed herbs...tadaaaa...siap...peringatan...yang ni bagi kering-kering sikit....

So....bahagian bawah ni letak kat loyang...kalau ikut recipe sebenar...guna casserol dish...ala guna loyang pun menjadik...hehe...and then top it with mash potatoes yang buat awal tadi....masuk dlm oven...bakar dalam 25 mins sampai kentang tu kekuningan....done...!!!

Salad pula...semalam guna style baru ciptaan sendiri....bawang holand tu tumis dengan butter...omputih kata...caramelized onion...dah layu..angkat letak kan kat bowl yang ada hirisan timun dan tomato ceri....garam + pepper + perahan lemon...gaul semua...eh sedap gak... :)


Ada yang tanya kenyang ke...percayalah..memang kenyang...dan ternyata sangat HALAL...sebab buat semua sendiri....

Oh ya...malam minggu lalu...en sudoku banjer makan kat bagan lalang....early birthday celebration....semakin mahal makanan di sana....mmmm....tapi...tq laling...next time belanja lah lagi...muehehehehe...
